The people who we choose be part of our Assistive Technology (AT) training team have come from different backgrounds. Some have come from an IT backgrounds and some have been our clients who have shown us to have a certain quality that lends itself to being able to show empathy, understanding and have a passion for technology.
Some are qualified teachers, qualified dyslexia specialists, the majority fit into the neurodiversity spectrum or have other other dissabilities. The qualities that we look for in our trainers are, patience, passion and empathy.
NeuroKnowHow provide top up training sessions for all our trainers and have a curriculum that they learn and pass on to their clients. ThisĀ curriculumĀ evolvesĀ as assistive technology does, but that is what make AT training fun… being on the ball of what is in development in the field of AT.
