What we CANNOT do:
- Correct all mistakes in your written work – we will only give general comments on your work
- Re-write or pre-mark your work
- Comment on the detailed academic subject matter
- Guarantee success or an improvement in your marks
Assistive Technology Tuition

What we CANNOT do:
- Fix any major issues with your software or hardware – these need to be referred to the AT equipment supplier
- Comment on the detailed academic subject matter
- Guarantee success or an improvement in your marks
Mentoring (Mental Health or Autism)
The support could include the following:
- coping with anxiety and stressful situations
- how to deal with concentration difficulties
- time management
- goal setting
- timetabling
- prioritising workload
- creating a suitable work-life balance
- Presentation and oral seminar skills
- Communication and social interaction skills
- Build confidence and self-esteem
- Dealing with change
- Skills in accessing relevant information
- Using tutor feedback from marked assignments to develop areas of strength
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be in writing (text to 07971 714217 or email to admin@neuroknowhow.com) giving a reason for the cancellation.
If you are funded by Student Finance England (SFE):
- You must give 24 hours notice in order to cancel a session (excluding weekends and bank holidays)
- You must provide a reason for a late cancellation
- Your DSA may be suspended by SFE if you repeatedly cancel your sessions late. If you cancel late more than 2 times a term*, SFE will write to you.
*term 1 is Sept-Dec, term 2 is Jan-April, term 3 is May-Aug
Sessions will take place at the agreed date and time. If changes are requested they must be agreed by both parties. It is important that you keep us informed of any changes in your status at University as this may affect your funding. Please note that if for any reason funding is withdrawn or used up with other suppliers, you may be invoiced personally for any outstanding invoices.
